Arrangements in the Comfort of Your Home
Over the past several months, you and your family lovingly kept vigil over your Loved One, dedicating your time and energy to their comfort and care.
You adjusted your routines to make space for meaningful moments together. Those days and nights could feel overwhelming, sometimes leaving you with a sense of lost control.
When the time came to begin funeral planning, we helped guide your family through the next steps.
When we spoke on the phone, we simply asked you to put on a pot of coffee, and we would come to you to make the arrangements. You might even smile when Richard tells you your coffee is better than his.
Being able to remain in the comfort of your own home, surrounded by familiar warmth, can feel like one of the first moments in a long time where you are finally able to breathe a little easier and regain some comfort and control.
Most funeral homes in Winnipeg ask families to come to their facility and rarely offer the option of meeting elsewhere.
When we opened our funeral home in January 2018, we intentionally built it to be mobile - equipped with the tools needed to bring our services and support directly to your home. From gathering vital statistics and creating your Loved One’s complimentary memorial webpage, to writing the obituary, reviewing costs, and accepting payment, we strive to make every step as gentle and simple as possible.
The same care applies when helping families pre-plan their own end-of-life wishes, and our availability is certainly not limited to a typical 9 to 5 workday.
Do we charge extra for coming to your home? Your coffee, and maybe a cookie, is payment enough.
We’re here whenever you need us.
